Plan Your Yes Vote

Help secure state funding for a new Pollard middle school. Follow this quick checklist to make sure your vote counts on Question #10.

  1. Check your Voter status

    Use the Secretary of the Commonwealth My Voter Registration Status tool (opens in a new tab).

    You must be registered in Needham to vote for Pollard on Question #10.

    • If your voting status is “inactive,” you may need to register to vote again as outlined in step 2 below.
    • If your voting status is “active,” skip to step 3.

    Vote by Mail / Absentee

    Application Deadline:
    Tuesday, October 27, 2026, by 5:00 PM
    Return Completed Ballot:
    Tuesday, November 3, 2026 to the Needham Town Hall drop box by 8:00 PM

    College Students: Request an absentee ballot early to receive it directly at your campus address.

“Shall the Town of Needham be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds issued in order to provide architectural design, engineering, construction, demolition, and site work, including incidental costs, for a new Pollard Middle School on Harris Avenue?”

VOTE YES

Locks in up to $80.6M in state aid to build a modern 6–8 middle school solving facility and space challenges at both Pollard and High Rock. The new school would fully open its doors in 2032.

VOTE NO

Forfeits $80.6M in state funding, requiring local taxpayers to pay 100% of urgent repairs with years of delays, with no clear plan to move forward.
